I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The new glasses are due in a week. The old ones have been readjusted so I can see better than I could. Lynx is in its final proof and yesterday I was able to bead all day long. Finally made some progress on this full-sized Beanie Baby Bunny.

Packed up Peanuts for GrandDaughter Ashley's birthday next week. I hope she will enjoy the significance of an elephant for her. I had such joy in choosing a beast for her.Happy Birthday Ashley!

More and more I am thinking that my headaches and feelings that I am lost or not comprehending the world as I should is due to changes that need to be made in my glasses. I noticed it was so hard to finish this giraffe with the tiny Charlottes someone had given me.for his hooves Between the black thread, the black beads and the dark  inner spaces I simply could not see anything at night with lamps.

So in desperation to be beading something, and not to feel too old to bead, I went back to doing these stars from Dorise Ford. The bright colors seem to help me a bit but I still see places where I have not placed the needle precisely. This only makes me more eager for Friday and the appointment with Gina.. Today the sun is shining so I want to see if I can get all the undone places beaded before dark.

I am surprised that Blogger even remembered me! It seems so long since I was here. Between the holidays, finishing the book (it is out today - http://www.amazon.com/Symbiotic-Poetry-Jane-Reichhold/dp/1494422778/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1388868284&sr=1-1&keywords=symbiotic+poetry) and the long hours it took to bead the kangaroo I have not had much to show. Since the tree is still up, the photo shoot set-up is occupied so you get only a desktop view.

Here you can see the baby kangaroo better. I finished late last night and I think I need to readjust the baby so it's head is more upward and looking straight ahead.
